WE ARE GLAD YOU FOUND US!! The Website of Lightouse Baptist Church of Zion, Illinois where God our Father is blessing us greatly, His dear Son is alive in our hearts, and the Holy Spirit gives us the direction, conviction, edification and the encouragement that every Christian must have.
About Us
We are an Independent Fundamen-
tal Baptist Church, with the King
James Bible as our FINAL authority
on all matters of faith and practice.

Statment of Faith
The objects for which this church is formed are as follows:
To form a church to be conducted according to the Doctrine of the Scriptures as set forth in the
following Statement of Faith:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the
written record of His supernatural revelation
of Himself to man, absolute in its authority, complete in its revelation, final in its content,
and without any errors in its statements.
We believe that the Texts which are the
closest to the original autographs of the Bible
are the Masoretic Hebrew Text for the Old Testament, and the Textus Receptus Greek
Text for the New Testament, and that the
King James Version, 1611, of the English Bible
is a true and faithful translation of these two providentially preserved Texts. Psalm 89:34;
John 10:35; II Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 6:18;
II Peter 3:16. There is one God eternally
existent, Creator of Heaven and Earth. He is manifest in three persons Father, Son, and
Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:2; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6;
John 14:9; I Timothy 3:16; I John 5:7.
The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God who took on flesh and dwelt on earth. He was sinlessly
perfect and gave Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice by shedding His blood and dying on
the tree. He then came back from the dead.
This was to pay for all sins, (past, present,
and future) for all who believe. Acts 13:38-41;
II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 9:2-28, 10:10-
14; I Peter 2:24; I John 3:5.

Look around the site, and get a taste of our Church; hoping you will taste a blend of vibrancy, zealousness, conservativism, standards, sweet fellowship, a close walk with our Father in Heaven, and a great burden and passion for the precious lost souls that are bound for everlasting punishment.
BETTER YET! Come on out to the Church house and check us out, and prepare yourself for a Bible based message where you will prayerfully walk out of Church with a burden for souls, sorrow for sin, excitement for serving Jesus, convinced of the message as the scriptures presented are unrefutable. We sing the old time hymns with excitement and fervor the way they were meant to be.
We LOVE to have visitors, as they are always encouraging, so come be an encouragement, and let us encourage you! Don't forget to sign our guestbook.
